     The purpose of this grant implementation tool-kit is for the benefit of all new 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) sub-recipients as well as continuing sub-recipients who may wish to explore new ideas or enhance their programs.

     The intention of this document is to provide resources to the 21st CCLC community that will address and assist program leaders and administrators with understanding the expectations of the Ohio Department of Education and provide “tools” for successful implementation. The documents and advice contained in the tool-kit are meant to be the team’s very best thoughts at this point in time.  The document can and will be updated periodically and new sections added.  Notifications of changes will be posted in the on-line newsletter.  Sub-recipients are highly encouraged to check back frequently.

     The documents and links provided herein are not mandated for use; however, they have been shared by sub grantee partners to provide examples of documents that are in use across the state and may serve as a basis for individual programs to develop for local implementation. The documents are provided as a resource only.  ODE does not endorse or promote a particular document. Sub grantees should ensure that the documents, when utilized, meet all of the compliance requirements and are unique to their grant/program. ODE is not responsible for the contents of any off-site pages referenced through links. The responsibility for content rests with the organizations providing the information.

     The sections that follow are provided to assist sub-grantees with understanding the expectations, what should be done to MEET the expectations, and how to strive to EXCEED expectations. There are resources and documents to guide the sub-grantees.
